Her Need to BELONG

She is in many ways alone. She is my neighbor. She is your neighbor. She is right next to me or you at the grocery store, at the hospital, in the library – everywhere we go. Loving her is what the LORD wants, but we think loving someone we hardly know is a bit frightening. What will it cost me? Will she accept me? How can I get to know her so that I can love her and begin a meaningful relationship?

She needs a place to “BELONG.” You have that place to offer – a hospitable environment you create for her with your love and acceptance. When we truly engage these women, they see love and acceptance in our lives, our words, our attitudes, our behavior and our service. They see God’s reflection – they see God’s love.

Cultivating friendships indicates that we are willing to take the time for each and every woman to know a sense of love and community so that they long to "BELONG.”
